What this site is
Land Clearing Authority is an independent planning resource. It does not perform clearing, mulching, stump removal, grading, or any site work, and it does not employ, license, certify, bond, insure, or supervise anyone who does.
This site publishes general planning information. It is not legal, engineering, environmental, forestry, or arboricultural advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional assessment of your property.
Using the tools
The planning tools produce planning outputs from the answers you supply and the rules published on each tool page. They are not assessments of your property, and no output from them is a quote, a specification, a safety determination, or a professional opinion.
This is a planning range, not a quote. It is produced from the answers you gave and the published rules on the methodology page. It does not account for anything a contractor would see on a site visit, and it is not a price anyone has offered you.
Submitting a project
- You confirm that you own the property or are authorised to commission work on it
- You agree that the description and your contact details may be shared with independent contractors in the matching category
- Any contract you enter is between you and that contractor — this platform is not a party to it
- No contractor is vetted, verified, or endorsed by this platform
- Nothing guarantees that any contractor will contact you, quote, or take the work
Contractor relationships
When you choose to submit a project, the details you provide are passed to independent contractors who may pay for the introduction. That payment is for the introduction only. It does not buy an endorsement, a ranking, or a place in any guidance on this site, and no contractor sees your project before you decide to send it.
Accuracy
Content is published in good faith and reviewed against its sources, and errors are corrected in place and recorded in the revision log. Requirements and conditions vary by location and change over time; nothing here is a substitute for confirming what applies to your property with the relevant authority.

Changes
These terms may change. Material changes are recorded in the revision log with the date, in the same way as any other content change on this site.
