How the money works
When you choose to submit a project, the details you provide are passed to independent contractors who may pay for the introduction. That payment is for the introduction only. It does not buy an endorsement, a ranking, or a place in any guidance on this site, and no contractor sees your project before you decide to send it.
Contractors buy access to a service category within a defined territory. That is the entire commercial model. There are no display advertisements, no affiliate links, no sponsored pages, and nothing on this site is written or positioned because a company paid for it.
What that payment does not buy
- An endorsement, a rating, or a recommendation — none exist on this site
- A ranking, because nothing here ranks companies
- Placement in, or influence over, any editorial content
- Exclusivity beyond the defined service category and territory
- Any guarantee of volume, revenue, or outcome
Contractor relationships
Contractors are not vetted, screened, background-checked, or verified by this platform. Confirm licensing, insurance, and references yourself before work begins.
A contractor paying for a territory has not been vetted, screened, or verified, and their presence in the network says nothing about their competence. Verification is yours to do, and the contractor guide explains how.
Analytics
Analytics provider currently configured: none. No measurement identifier exists in this repository. When a provider is configured, event payloads are filtered against an allow-list before dispatch — names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, and full ZIP codes are dropped at the call site, and geography is reported at three-digit ZIP prefix only.
Independence
Land Clearing Authority is an independent planning resource. It does not perform clearing, mulching, stump removal, grading, or any site work, and it does not employ, license, certify, bond, insure, or supervise anyone who does.
